Whether you’ve lived in town forever, or are about to visit Aransas Pass for the first time, find out some of Allen Samuels CDJR Aransas Pass’s favorite things to do in our great city! Featuring special places that include great eats, great fun, and great entertainment, Aransas Pass really has it all. Discover all that this city has to offer by continuing below!

Rialto Theater

Located in the heart of downtown Aransas Pass is one of the few remaining Rialto theaters that still exists. The Rialto found in Aransas Pass got its start in 1937 as a movie theater before being closed down in 1991. However, in 2004, some new owners revived the theater to show more exciting and original performances. With a 100-seat auditorium as well as a full-service bar, this is a center of the arts that features dramas, dances, and comedy acts — and you can find it right here in Aransas Pass.

Butter Churn

After you’re done seeing a play on a nice afternoon at the Rialto, head over to Butter Churn for dinner, which serves different country-style food every day including chicken fried steak, BBQ selections, fried fish, and more! This Texas staple has been family-owned and operated since 1995 in Sinton, but has recently opened up a new location in Aransas Pass. Open every day but Monday, this restaurant is one who surely won’t want to miss!

Aransas Pass Aquatic Center

Be sure to take some time between eating at Butter Churn before coming to enjoy our next stop, which is the Aransas Pass Aquatic Center. Closed on Tuesdays but open the rest of the week, typically until 6:00 p.m., this great water park in Aransas Pass offers fun for the whole family! With cheap admission and plenty of fun activities and classes to enjoy, the Aransas Pass Aquatic Center is definitely a place you’ll want to turn to in order to cool down in the Texas summer heat.
